Author's Guidelines

The International Journal of Academic Research and Technical Innovation (IJARTI) welcomes original, high-quality, and unpublished research contributions from scholars, researchers, and practitioners across disciplines. Authors are advised to carefully follow these guidelines before submission to ensure a smooth review and publication process.


1. Manuscript Categories

IJARTI accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles – Full-length studies with significant findings.

  • Review Articles – Comprehensive overviews of existing literature.

  • Case Studies / Case Reports – Context-specific studies or medical reports.

  • Technical Notes / Short Communications – Concise research notes, innovations, or methodological contributions.

  • Book Reviews & Commentaries – Critical reviews of academic texts or discussions on current issues.


2. Manuscript Preparation

2.1 General Formatting

  • Manuscripts must be written in English.

  • Submit in MS Word (.docx) format.

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12, double-spaced.

  • Page numbers should be included.

  • Length:

    • Research Articles: 4,000–7,000 words

    • Review Articles: 5,000–8,000 words

    • Short Communications: 2,000–3,500 words

2.2 Structure of Research Articles

Manuscripts should generally include the following sections:

  1. Title – Clear, concise, and informative (max 20 words).

  2. Author(s) Information – Full names, affiliations, ORCID IDs, and email addresses.

  3. Abstract – 150–250 words, summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusion.

  4. Keywords – 4–6 keywords, separated by commas.

  5. Introduction – Background, rationale, and research objectives.

  6. Methodology – Detailed description of methods, materials, and procedures.

  7. Results – Clear presentation of findings, supported by tables and figures.

  8. Discussion – Interpretation of results, significance, and comparison with existing studies.

  9. Conclusion – Summary of main findings and implications.

  10. Acknowledgments (if applicable).

  11. Conflict of Interest Statement.

  12. References – Follow APA (7th edition) referencing style.


3. Tables, Figures, and Illustrations

  • All figures and tables should be clearly labeled and cited in the text.

  • Provide high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi).

  • Figures should be submitted in JPEG or PNG format.

  • Each table/figure must include a title and legend.


4. Citation and References

  • Use APA 7th edition referencing style.

  • In-text citation examples:

    • Single author: (Smith, 2021)

    • Two authors: (Brown & Lee, 2022)

    • Three or more authors: (Johnson et al., 2023)

  • Reference list should be arranged alphabetically at the end.

Example Reference (Journal Article):

  • Doe, J., & Smith, A. (2022). Machine learning applications in healthcare. Journal of Innovation in Medical Research, 15(3), 45–60. https://doi.org/xxxx

5. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the OJS Online Submission System.

  • Authors must create an account and log in to submit their manuscript.

  • Each submission will receive a unique manuscript ID for tracking.


6. Peer Review Policy

  • IJARTI follows a double-blind peer review process.

  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts.

  • Review outcomes may be: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

  • Average review time: 4–6 weeks.


7. Plagiarism and Ethics

  • All submissions undergo a Turnitin plagiarism check (similarity index must be ≤ 15%).

  • Authors must adhere to ethical research standards (e.g., informed consent, IRB approval for human/animal studies).

  • Misconduct (plagiarism, falsification, duplication) will lead to immediate rejection.


8. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • IJARTI operates on an open access model.

  • An Article Processing Charge (APC) may apply to accepted manuscripts.

  • Waivers or discounts may be granted for authors from low-income countries.


9. Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors retain copyright of their work.

  • Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), allowing free distribution with proper citation.
